As former Chairman of the Board at EIKONA, responsible for logistics, Manuel spent decades learning to manage complex operations and lead people. He brings this experience to OKAVANDU today – only with a different goal: not economic profit, but social impact.
Manuel is regularly on site in Namibia, taking care of everything that happens directly on the farm: setting up the guesthouse, modernising the agriculture and, above all, staying in close contact with the people who live and work there. For him, OKAVANDU is the chance to start over – and this time to create something that lasts.

Torsten is the Technical Managing Director of EIKONA and brings his technical expertise to OKAVANDU as well. From the website to digital infrastructure and strategic planning – he ensures that things work behind the scenes so that everything can run smoothly on the ground.
Even though he cannot travel to Namibia as often, he is involved in the project every day. Manuel and Torsten share the work: what needs to be done on site, Manuel handles. What can be done remotely, Torsten takes care of. This division works – because it is built on 25 years of trust and shared experience.
